Judith P. Lawrence

For almost 30 years Judith P. Lawrence worked as a legal secretary.  On May 21, 2014, at 60 years young, without provocation, Judith was told that her long-term position with her law firm was finished.  Judith says that for most people, working hard is like having anesthesia; it acts as a distraction from the everyday ills of the world.  Working kept her from feeling or thinking about things that hurt.  When her tenure at the law firm ended the anesthesia was suddenly removed and the pain was front and center.

 

That time in Judith's life was uncomfortable, both mentally as well as financially.  Then one day Judith needed a document notarized.  She called around and engaged a mobile notary to come to her home to notarize the documents.  Judith paid the notary $100 and as she puts it, a light bulb went off in her head.  Judith said to herself, "if I just paid someone $100 for a notarization, with my legal background and training, I think I could do that and offer my own services."  The journey began.

Judith is now an entrepreneur and one of the most sought-after notaries in the Philadelphia area.  Her business, Center City Notary offers mobile notary services, mortgage loan signings, auto tags transactions, Apostilles and much more.  Judith is also a Business Coach, Author, and Public Speaker.  She is a Certified Notary Signing Agent, Certified Apostille Agent and a Full Penndot Agent.  Judith is a member of the Professional Association of Women's Network, the National Association of Women's Organization and the Philadelphia Area Concierge Association.  She is also a member of the National Notary Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries, the American Association of Notaries and the Pennsylvania Board of Elections.

One of Judith's goals is to speak to other's who have been faced with a second career situation, sharing her journey and helping them to reinvent themselves.

  

daniel c. lewis

Daniel C. Lewis is a nationally recognized speaker and mentor on notarial issues, conducting workshops across the country that address innovation within a diverse range of industry topics including underwriting, title procedures, marketing, contract negotiation, effective use of social media, closing procedures and more.    In 2010 Daniel was named the National Notary Association's Notary of the Year.  In that same year he was honored by the Indiana Secretary of State as an Honorary Secretary of State that same year.  Daniel serves as a National Notary Association Ambassdor in his area.

Daniel is one of the founding board members of and current President of the Indiana Notary Association.  As President of the Indiana Notary Association Daniel has advocated for Indiana notaries during court hearings as well as during the legislative process.  Daniel has attended and testified at Senate and Representative Committee meetings as well as participated in round table discussions on new notary laws.  Daniel was able to successfully lobby to raise notary fees in Indiana to the highest they have been in more than fifty years.  Daniel was also recognized by the Indiana Secretary of State's Office on his participation in helping structure the remote notary laws in Indiana.

Daniel is also an Approved Instructor for the Indiana Department of Insurance to teach continuing education courses for Indiana notaries.  Daniel has taught such workshops as remote notarization, how to starting a notary business, Ethics, how to conduct a real estate closing and much more.  

 

Daniel is also a licensed Financial Advisor.  He has helped thousands of notaries over the years properly setup their business to develop better cash flow, manage their debt more effectively, create and maintain an emergency fund, properly protect their business and family, build wealth as well as preserve wealth.  Daniel has consistently been one of the most sought after notary mentors for the past several years.
